I love Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They put their unique twist on well-known melodies, and it works. I always look forward to listening to them at Christmastime, in particular, their Christmas Canon.
A mix of Pachelbel's Canon in D (a popular wedding song the world over) and a beautiful melody sung by well-trained child singers, Christmas Canon is gorgeous, and one of my favorites.
