Today was my third straight day of working hard--all of my posters, framed wall hangings, rugs, blankets and decorative bathroom stuff is bubble-wrapped and packed. I took a load of stuff to Goodwill, and now I've loaded some things in the car to take to Mom and Dad's house tomorrow.
At the moment I'm taking a break to make some chicken and risotto for dinner. Once I've packed up my kitchen, meals will be mostly Subway and whatever I can throw together without cooking. Probably a lot of baby carrots and apples. Neigh.
My new camera arrived an hour ago. I got the same camera I was using--a Nikon Coolpix L24. The new one is slightly more streamlined and less bulky, and, of course, it doesn't have a broken battery compartment held together by Band-Aids.
I'm definitely at the point where I'm ready for the move to be over, the bulk of my stuff in a storage locker and my important stuff crammed into my room at Mom and Dad's place. Limbo is never fun, especially once you've packed your DVD collection.
