Mom, Dad and I went for a little drive this afternoon, up towards Lake Oroville and the Plumas National Forest. We didn't really do much, just stopping briefly at the lake for some pictures. I took a bunch of pictures from the car--some turned out better than others, obviously. Here are a few, just for kicks.

At the northern end of town, the clay works. |

The Sutter Buttes are, apparently, the world's smallest
independent mountain range. |

At Lake Oroville |

Yep, he came along! |
|
Another family stopped at the turnout and offered to take
a pic of us. Yes, that's Cali Swimmy! |
|
The long and winding road... |
|
A small lake, with lots of lily pads. |

Coming back to that lovely green bridge at Lake Oroville. |

Another view of the Sutter Buttes. |

Entering Lincoln... |
We stopped for dinner at a local Turkish restaurant that we love, and now we're relaxing at home. It's been a lovely weekend, and a long-overdue visit to Mom and Dad's.
