Sunday Drivers

Mom, Dad and I went for a little drive this afternoon, up towards Lake Oroville and the Plumas National Forest. We didn't really do much, just stopping briefly at the lake for some pictures. I took a bunch of pictures from the car--some turned out better than others, obviously. Here are a few, just for kicks.

Driving through downtown Lincoln

At the northern end of town, the clay works.

The Sutter Buttes are, apparently, the world's smallest
independent mountain range.

At Lake Oroville

Yep, he came along!

Another family stopped at the turnout and offered to take
a pic of us. Yes, that's Cali Swimmy!

The long and winding road...

A small lake, with lots of lily pads.

Coming back to that lovely green bridge at Lake Oroville.

Another view of the Sutter Buttes.

Entering Lincoln...
We stopped for dinner at a local Turkish restaurant that we love, and now we're relaxing at home. It's been a lovely weekend, and a long-overdue visit to Mom and Dad's.
