The babies don't seem to understand that it would probably be easier to go under the rungs than over. Oh, well, it's cuter to watch them go over, in all their clumsy glory.
I've been letting them have playtime in my 2nd bedroom (which is my library/craft room/music room/Snoopy collection display room). They've been having some fun.

What a grand playroom!! And it is fun watching them discover their own abilities. One of the reasons I'm fostering!
It's been marvelous to watch them. They have gained sooo much confidence just in one week. They toot around here with their tails straight up. And I can barricade them in the 2nd room while I shower, which solves the steam problem. I don't take too long and give them their tuna right before going in. LOL
It's going to be hard to give them up this weekend, but I know I'm doing a really wonderful thing. It will be a long time before I have the time/space to foster again, but I know I will someday!
I love the overland express routine. I've always thought that maybe this helps their sense of balance develope.
I know you will miss the hell out of them but think of how happy they are going to make another family in their forever home.
Too cure for words.
