I don't delve into politics on the LPB very often, but tonight, I simply can't NOT post the following video.
State Senator Diane Savino of New York gave this moving, powerful speech yesterday, and it is spreading like wildfire on the internet, thanks to YouTube and blogs like Jezebel. Savino has many (maybe thousands) of new fans on Facebook today. Give it a watch. Even if you don't agree with the idea of legalizing gay marriage, you have to admit that this speech is pretty awesome.

I could rant, but I won't. Poor arguments, delivered with feeling.
Obviously, our politics are much different. I've moved away from pretty much any so-called conservative views I ever had when I was younger.
I have too many friends and family members who are gay to think it's bad, or wrong, or that any of them are undeserving of the rights that the rest of us enjoy.
