I received my just-released copy of Keane's Hopes and Fears Deluxe Edition in the mail a few days ago. Keane released the deluxe version of their first album with some previously unreleased material, live versions of popular songs, and covers. It's pretty damned good.
Anyway, I listened to everything and realized that even in their early days, they were quite experimental in their sound. This song, "Closer Now," doesn't really sound anything like the rest of Hopes and Fears. So for all the critics out ther who think Keane can only play one song over and over...well, pooh on you.
