Dr. Miranda Bailey (played, brilliantly, by Chandra Wilson) is my favorite character on Grey's Anatomy--and, like me, she is short and full-figured.
But her appearance never matters on the show--from the very first episode, she is known as a tough, brilliant resident surgeon, one who misses very little and scares the wits out of her interns.
Her character has developed over the first five seasons so that we see that she is so much more than her exterior--a mother, a carer, a tough cookie and SMART, to boot. In other words, this Fat Girl is AWESOME.
