On Thursday, I took Rosie Pro for four new tires (yay), and, while I waited, I walked along the Miracle Mile of Stockton. There are lots of shops and restaurants. Some are more interesting than others.
Anyway, it was a gorgeous day, so I took some pictures.

I was in Stockton, and I think South Stockton, for the 4 days before the last general doing Get Out the Vote for Obama. There are definitely some gloomy parts, but the main drag is quite charming and the neighborhood around the university is lovely. Was the coolest experience I've ever had doing GOTV there. Will never forget it - one to tell the g'kids.
South Stockton is horrid. Downtown is pretty in parts, and the Miracle Mile is cute. The university neighborhood is quite lovely. I live in the northern part of town, where the "old money" apparently resides (my colleague's words, not mine!).
