Not Gonna Lie

I'm feeling a little bit nervous about my new high school gig--and I should! I think people would worry if I wasn't a little bit nervous, right? It's a big deal, taking over a high school choral program, no matter now small. And the expectations being laid on my shoulders are to make that program grow, to make it exciting for the clientele at the school. I have a lot to figure out once I get there--how much my current students know, what kind of music they can do, and how to entice my future students into being singers.

There will be trial and error, but there will also be a lot of success. I found this in Glamour magazine recently, and it resonated. I snapped a quick picture of it, and I might just keep it around:
