Yesterday, I met up with Summer and our old choir/music ed friend Amanda for lunch in Old Sacramento. Amanda (not to be confused with the Amanda I saw
in Chico last month), was a music education major with us, and participated in some of our shenanigans. I hadn't seen her in maybe ten years, but we've kept in touch on Facebook.
She's now a married mother of two adorable children. Her family lives in Bakersfield, and they were passing through Sacramento yesterday on their way home from a trip to Redding, so we all met for lunch and a stroll around the Railroad Museum.
It was great to catch up, and it was fun to talk music teaching and life since college. Of course, we had to get a picture.

Yours Truly, Amanda's daughter (in a Chico shirt!), Amanda, Summer |
Here's to old friends! The ones who knew me at my most spastic and immature, who helped me become the adult I am, the people who still cheer me on via Facebook and greet me with a huge hug after years and years.
