Split

A week or two ago, I had my picture taken at school, so I can be in the staff picture and in the yearbook, etc. I didn't order any pictures, but I got some complimentary ones anyway. I was immediately struck by how different this picture is from the last one I had done--in 2008. So I put them side-by-side.

Everything is different--my face, my hair, my posture. Mom once delicately pointed out that while I'm still, *ahem* endowed, I carry them much better now. I love how my shoulders are straighter and prouder, and how my neck is more defined. The smile is still the same--full lips, gap in the front teeth, wide and happy.

But the difference is amazing.
