Productive

I have been disgustingly productive this week. And it's only Tuesday. What have I done? Allow me to brag.

On Monday, I...
  • Got up at 6:00
  • Gave the cats their cookies, refilled the food and water dishes
  • Ran
  • Did a killer lower-body workout at the gym
  • Stopped at PetSmart for cat food
  • Stopped at Target for cat litter, milk and eggs
  • Gave out Tuna Time
  • Relisted a bunch of stuff on eBay and started new auctions as well
  • Photographed some new cards for my Etsy shop (but I haven't listed them yet)
  • Re-listed some expired listings on Etsy
  • Promoted both my eBay and Etsy shops on Twitter and Facebook
  • Scooped the litter boxes
  • Helped a friend with some grading
  • Two loads of laundry
  • Unloaded the dishwasher
  • Drove to Sacramento during rush hour without going batshit insane
  • Attended a two-and-a-half hour choir rehearsal
And today I...
  • Allowed myself to sleep 'til 8:00
  • Gave the cats their cookies, refilled food and water dishes
  • Filled the back yard bird feeders
  • Scooped the litter boxes
  • Vacuumed the room where the litter boxes are kept
  • Relisted more items on eBay
  • Relisted more items on Etsy
  • Promoted both my eBay and Etsy shops on Twitter and Facebook
  • Checked a few job sites
  • Finished the grading I was helping my friend do.
  • Made a spinach and feta quiche
  • Ate said quiche
  • Watched "The Sing-Off," which I DVR'd last night while at choir rehearsal
  • Went through a bunch of CDs that were in my car to see what was on them and label accordingly
  • Burned three new CDs for the car
  • RSVP'd for an event I'm attending tomorrow (more on that in a minute)
  • Practiced Movement 1 from Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms"
  • Sorted the huge stack of mail that has accumulated while Mom and Dad have been on their cruise.
  • Washed some dishes
I'm delightfully sore today from yesterday's killer workout, and because I'm always up late on Mondays, I decided to give myself today off from working out and getting up super-early. It takes me a good hour to "come down" after choir rehearsal. I get so jazzed and excited, and it lasts the whole thirty- to forty-minute drive home.

At rehearsal last night, one of the tenors announced a special deal that's happening tomorrow. A new musical called Allegiance is opening next year, so right now, they've been screening a recorded version of it to get audience feedback. It's coming to Sacramento tomorrow night, along with one of the show's stars...none other than George Takei. He's hosting a special reception beforehand, and SCSO singers have been invited to attend (it's free!). I reserved my spot today and printed the ticket.

Mom and Dad return on Sunday, and I have grand plans to welcome them home to a super-clean house. I've been organizing (someone had to go through the towel drawer in the kitchen--good God, it was a mess!) and putting new systems for cat feeding in place.

All of this productivity is making me tired, so I think I'll sign off now and watch my new guilty pleasure, "Pan Am." It is cheesy beyond belief. Stewardess spy intrigues! Refusal to wear a girdle! But it is fun.
