Right, so I never did get around to blogging again last night.
The good news is that all of Mom's tests came back normal--nothing to indicate that her heart was acting up. Still, the doctors are taking precautions, so they kept her overnight to run tests. They want to do a stress test and some other things, from what Dad and I understand. I spoke to her last night when she finally got a room, and she was tired but in good spirits and feeling fine. Dad had left her with a stack of her favorite quilting magazines, and when he called me at 8:00 this morning, he was on his way down to sit with her, and taking fresh clothes and her knitting bag.
Dad will keep in touch with me throughout the day. When I go for my run and gym time, I'll keep my cell phone glued to my hand.
I don't know when she'll be released, but I know she's in good hands and that having Dad with her is a big comfort. Thanks to everyone who has sent good wishes. We all really appreciate it.

I'm glad to hear it was nothing serious. Hugs!
