My favorite romance author, Julia Quinn (what could make this Keane-related is that Jesse has a wife named Julia Quin...heh) posted on Facebook tonight, and a bunch of people replied, including Yours Truly. And Julia singled me out for a comment!
A little bit of background--the Smythe-Smith family is a recurring "joke" in many of Julia's books. They give a musicale every year that is so horridly bad (they all have tin ears and no musical talent whatsoever) that no one in the ton ever really wants to go...and no one ever dares miss it.
This year, one of the beleaguered Smythe-Smith girls, Honoria, finally got her own novel (the one pictured as Julia's avatar). It's one of my favorite JQ books yet! Anyway, the following transpired on Facebook a few minutes ago, and I'm sitting here quietly giggling.

How funny. I feel weird when authors talk to me to be honest. I'd rather review books and pretend they don't exist. lol
