I had another job interview today--this time in Salinas, just south and east of Monterey--about 50 miles north of King City, where I interviewed a couple of weeks ago. So this morning I was up bright and early, and I left at 8:00 to get to my interview on time. After that, it was over to Carmel for some sight-seeing.
I only took a few sign pictures in Salinas, and those only of signs. It has a cute little downtown area and the school is gorgeous, but I have a feeling I am not what they're looking for--and more importantly, they are not what I am looking for (high school choir, taking over for a much-loved, long-term choir teacher...been there, done that, got the battle scars to prove it). Still, it's good to interview.
So this post is short...next up, the beach!
