So a while back, Mom and Dad bought me an early Christmas present: A Cricut cutting machine for my card-making. I'm still learning all of the ins and outs of using it, but it is such a cool machine! Soon I hope to be using it regularly for embellishments for my cards and scrapbooks.
You just punch in the words you want, the size you want them, and press "cut." The machine does it's thing and voila! You've got perfectly cut-out letters or shapes.
I'm so in love.

I've been playing with mine too! The only thing I hate so far, how damn sticky that cutting mat is. I've ripped so many letters (especially if I wasn't using card-stock). Drives me crazy!
Yeah, that can suck a little--I tried cutting some old music I had and the black ink of the notes stuck to the cutting mat! Argh! But I can see why they made it sticky--still, wish they'd made edges you could stick the paper under or something.
