The first time I heard this song was at a boy's house. A boy who I thought I loved, and who didn't love me back. Yes, this was college. Anyway, I nearly bawled listening to this song and have loved it ever since. That doesn't make sense, thinking about it.
I try to avoid posting VEVO videos from YouTube because they're truly horrid and always cut short...but this time, it's the only viable alternative.

(((Meg))) Yeah, loving it makes sense. It is a song that spoke to that experience at that moment.
I don't do fandom well, but Billy Joel has been one of my favorites for a very, very long time. His songs have reflected many of my experiences.
I've so wanted to send "Angry Young Man" to one kitteh blogger ... but I fear it would only hurt her, not speak to her or help her to see that bringing it down a few notches would allow her to be more effective.
