I [Heart] Bill Bryson

Just thought I'd throw that out there. If you haven't read him...well, get yourself to the nearest book store or library. Start with A Walk In The Woods or Notes From a Small Island. Or if travelogues aren't your thing, read The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid.  If you don't nearly pee your pants laughing, I'll eat my hat.

Anyway, today he's got a new book out, called At Home. It's a history of how we live our lives in our homes, and it is bound to be not only fascinating, but filled with funny moments, because Bryson's dry sense of humor never quits.

I have a Barnes and Noble coupon burning a whole in my wallet. Someone said, "You could get it at the library," and I replied, "Yeah, but I know I want to own this book."
