He's a Clown, That Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown is the second-largest of the Peanuts Gang, and also, perhaps, the most shy. He's the one who will hold back a little, wanting desperately to be petted, but waiting for Lucy and Linus to get tired before presuming that he can have a turn.

When it came time to assign my Peanuts-inspired names to the babies, I got to Snoopy and Charlie Brown and gave CB his name because he had a slightly rounder head. It turns out I named him well, as he is a gentle little soul, while the kitten who ended up with the name Snoopy is the more adventurous.

I know which one is Snoopy because he has a gray face with the tiniest of smudges next to his nose.

"Can I have some rubbies now?"
