I'm sitting here at my computer, thinking of what to write on this great holiday.
I love Independence Day (I don't call it "the Fourth of July" often because I think it loses its meaning). I love the history of this country and I am unabashedly proud to be American (most of the time).
Today, I'll be watching a hometown parade in Lincoln and then going to a barbecue with some good friends. I hope all of you, dear readers, have a safe and happy day.
