A Walk in the Evening

Since the end of last week, I've made note--every day--about the rapidly decreasing level in the cat food bin. A day ago, I poured the last of the cat food into the two bowls and said to myself, "Buy more. Today."

Of course, I forgot.

And, of course, I forgot again today, when I was out buying new jeans at Old Navy (yay me!). So I came home to this:

Oops.

So a few minutes ago, I strapped on my walking shoes and set off for Marina Market, which is about a 3-minute walk from my apartment, and quite a pleasant walk, at that. It's between here and the gym. I took my camera along.

My apartment complex, while sometimes noisy and filled with inconsiderate people, is actually quite nice. It's pretty, and well-maintained, with lots of trees.

I went to Marina Market, and surreptitiously took a picture of the way outdated cardboard cutout of Dale Jr.

On my adventure, I also took some random shots of the area, including one of my more svelte shadow.

Finally I was on the little path to my front door, and happily coming home to two sweet babies, who were happy to get some food.

Oh kitties. You each have your own food bowl, you silly critters!

They also have plenty of real estate on the bed, but seem to want the same spot!
