So I stayed home sick today, and in the first half of the day (from about 4:00 am to noon), I really knew it was the right thing to do. A hot shower, Ibuprofen and one showing of Baby Mama later, I was feeling well enough that I almost could have gone to school and taught my afternoon classes.
Yay for feeling better!
However, I'd already called it in, and I know that the best thing today was just to rest. Maybe let the post-nasal drippiness subside. So I relaxed on the couch in my Snuggie, with Millie and Harley, watching a movie.
And I felt like the laziest sloth ever because couldn't go to the gym!
Three weeks ago, I had to drag myself to the gym kicking and screaming. Now I feel lazy and gross if I miss a day because I'm home getting rid of phlegm.
Strides are being made, here!
I'm back to work tomorrow, and to the gym as well. I have an appointment with B. the Sadistic Trainer. I wouldn't want to miss it.

Letting your body rest so it can heal when you're sick is not sloth.
But yay for you for really missing the workout!!!
I know it's not sloth...I just felt sort of slothy because I wanted to work out!
