Miz Minka has honored me with a Fabulous Blog Award (and thank you for complimenting my spelling--though I do catch typos sometimes because I often forget to spell-check!). I love my LPB, and it's nice to know that others enjoy reading it. Now, to accept this award, here's what I have to do:
1. I must list my five addictions.
2. I must pass this on to 5 fabulous blogs.
So, without further ado, here are my five addictions:
1. Scrapbooking. I love working on my scrapbooks, and I especially love buying adorable stuff for my books. It's a great feeling when a page just comes together without too much fuss. I love matching the colors and bringing out the best in my pictures. It helps me relive wonderful memories.
2. England! I'm addicted to England. I love everything about it, from the charming landscape to the gorgeous accent. I drink my tea like a Brit. Their movies are far better than 95% of the tripe Hollywood produces. They gave the world Robbie Williams, Robert Pattinson, and Colin Firth. 'Nuff said.
3. Bulletin boards. My classroom bulletins boards are so much fun to put together. So far, my favorite this year was my Chinese New Year board, though my St. Patrick's Day board is coming along very well, too. I love finding fun things to post, whether it's pictures I found on the Internet, stuff I found at the craft store, or cute decorations. My boards are definitely NOT boring.
4. Like Miz Minka, blogging. I have FOUR blogs right now: The Wild and Absolutely True Adventures of Meg, The Anxious Traveler, Confessions of a West Coast NASCAR Fan (my most neglected blog), and Sign of the Times (for showing off my favorite sign pics). Of course, this one, my Little Pink Blog, is the longest-running and most-updated. I love posting things here, and can often be found thinking, "I ought to blog that."
5. FOOD. But I'm getting better about that. I'm finding that making healthy meals isn't so bad, and I'm satisfied enough that I don't sit here at 8:00 each night thinking, "Must. Have. Chocolate." And I'm starting to become addicted to working out. It feels good to step off the cross-trainer after 35 minutes!
Now, my own nominees:
1. Shameless Britni has a blog that many might not understand, but I find it entertaining and thought-provoking.
2. Robyn has some interesting musings and observations about the world.
3. My Swirly friend has a fun blog--I wish she'd update more! I like her style.
4. Shae has been blogging even longer than I have, and I have always been inspired by her. She writes beautifully, and has so many awesome tales to tell.
5. And finally, Shamrockette, who is new to the blogosphere, but already has some good things to add.
