My Week In Pictures

This week I got a bee in my bonnet to do a Week In Pictures post...it's been a while! So here you have it.

On Sunday, I met my friend Meghan in Folsom (our home town) for drinks at a bar where a former classmate of ours bartends on the weekends. I was running a little bit early, so I did a brief nostalgia tour.

This is where we lived from 1987-1998--the Randall Court house.
The windows above the garage aren't a proper room,
just a big storage loft.

This land belongs to the famous Folsom Prison.

The football field at what used to be Folsom High School (now it
is a middle school). I spent many hours marching that field.

Hop Sing Palace--still the best Chinese food I
know of.

Historic Sutter Street

Swimmy and I enjoyed a drink (and then we had water the rest of
the evening).

Terrible pic of me.

Faisal--fellow FHS Class of '96 alum.
Of course, the Big News came down while I was out:

Monday

Swimmy and a new teacup both got baths.

I LOVE the summer produce 'round these parts!

On Tuesday I got my teeth cleaned, thanks to a great Groupon deal.

My current reading material--an 800+ page brick of a book. It's
quite interesting.

On Tuesday, I did my first pedicure of the summer.

I also watched some "Supernatural" on the DVD player.

Random pic of the table next to my TV.

It was my night to bring snacks to Chorale.

Wednesday
This is Panther. I subbed for the regular Wednesday morning
cage cleaner, and he tried to get my attention while I was cleaning
his upstairs neighbor.

Bonnie--an absolute sweetie pie.

Mal, another Sweetie Pie.

After cleaning cages, I went back to Mom and Dad's. We drove to
the nearby Commissary for some grocery shopping, military-style.
Saw this sign and had to get a pic (however blurry).
Thursday--Rosie Pro got an oil change. While I waited, I walked across the street to the gym.

Autowest Mazda.

Later in the day, I watched some more "Supernatural"
and admired my pretty toes.

Nap time at Casa Cooper.

Last night, I found an offering in my bed.

At least it's a cute offering.
 Friday
I've been bumming around here, using Mom and Dad's computer
for some job-hunting and Keane-watching. I'll be back in Stockton
tonight.
